No matter what anyone tells you making money online isn’t easy! There are steps you must take and tools you need to get the job done. Take this for example and think about it the next time some Internet Guru tries to sell you something. If you have a shovel, some wood, some bricks, a garden hose and a hammer and your ultimate goal is to build a house and you’ve never seen a house and don’t have the blueprints to do it, how successful do you think you are going to be. Not very! I make that point just to show you how hard starting an online business is. Is it impossible?…clearly not, someone is making money somewhere, but it is impossible or damn near with the above analogy. So with that being said my aim is to help you build your house, by showing you and giving you the right tools that will help you build your dream home.

Before you go on culmping me with the Online Gurus STOP! I’m not a Guru in fact I loathe those guys. It seems like all they want is your e-mail address and they use that to take your money. I aim to give you the best FREE content and tips I can. Don’t get me wrong, there will be times that you will have to invest in your business through information products and software, but I will do my best to make sure that your money and time will be well worth it. I always (98% of the time) test and review products before I suggest them to my subscribers.

This all came about when I posted a link on twitter. I had about 7 hits the first minute and I was all like “Cool 7 hits per minute!” so I went off to make a video about a product I was promoting at the time. All the while I’m thinking “People love videos, I’ll get like a tillions hits in 5 seconds!” Well I didn’t really think that. Ok maybe I did…that’s neither here nor there. So I posted the link to my you tube video on my twitter accounts and………..nothing. Not 1 hit.

I’ve recently hit a brick wall in my business. Between being sick, running out of money, and dealing with unwanted and unwelcomed house hold responsibilities I’ve come to the point were I don’t want to really do anything. I haven’t been recording my data like I should be, I haven’t been working on my information product, and I still want money?!? Something is wrong with my logic.

The only thing I’ve really been doing lately is getting twitter followers (I went from 100 to over 1000 in a few days), and you guys look at that and say well that’s a pretty big feat! Well no not really, that kinda happened on auto pilot with this software I got, called tweet attacks, so I’m not even going to take credit for that. But unlike most people I recognize I have a problem and I know what I have to do to change it.

By now you’re probably asking what’s the difference between a post and an article? Well that’s why I’m here I answer all of the questions. So, here is the difference: articles are much shorter than your post. So now you’re all like “So if I write a post why do I need articles?”. Articles are much shorter so that they fit within the maximum character count on most social media sites. The article is made up of the post, so if you have a really long post you can break it up in 3 or maybe even 4 articles and back-link those articles to your original article. Back-linking does two things it 1. It takes the curious reader to the post which goes much further in depth into the subject matter, 2. it creates traffic to your site and exposes the reader to your opt-in box, which intern gives you another person to contact, 3. Once this person gets to your blog and you have more valuable content to offer, you create a following and you put your self on a pedal stool as a leader.
